By participating in the “Party at the Ballpark,” you will be able to give back to the community while you enjoy various food stations and beverage options, meet Skeeters’ Mascots Moe and Swatson, tour the fabulous Constellation Field, participate in a Live Auction and Bid Board, and enjoy 50s, 60s & 70s music and dancing.

The Fall Classic Party will also feature exciting drawing for a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic, courtesy of Classic Chevrolet. The Chevrolet Sonic is a 2011 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Every $100 ticket includes one event ticket, as well as a raffle ticket. Raffle tickets can be purchased from any Sugar Land Rotarian.

For more than 24 years, Sugar Land Rotary has supported the community and local schools. One of the non-profits that Rotary supports is the Fort Bend Education Foundation. “We are grateful to Sugar Land Rotary for their years of continued support to the Fort Bend Education Foundation’s Grants to Teachers in Schools Program. We reach all 74 campuses in Fort Bend ISD. We thank Sugar Land Rotary and those who sponsor their annual fundraiser,” said Brenna Smelley, Executive Director of the Fort Bend Education Foundation.

“The ‘Party at the Ballpark’ is a great opportunity to have fun and reach those who most need assistance in our community and beyond. All of the proceeds raised at the Fall Classic will be returned to the community throughout the year. In the 24-year history of Sugar Land Rotary over $1,700,000 has been raised to support organizations such as: Boys and Girls Club of America, Arcola Fire Alarm Project, Four Corners Project, Fort Bend County Fair Association, Fort Bend/American Cancer Society, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Santa’s Exchange, Sugar Land Police (Bulletproof Vests), American Heart Association, Boy Scouts, CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates, East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, The Arc of Fort Bend County, Fort Bend Cares, Fort Bend Women’s Center, Habitat for Humanity, Fort Bend Education Foundation, Fort Bend Boys’ Choir, Sugar Land Rotary Club Scholarships, Special Olympics, and more.
