Sugar Land Rotary Celebrates Veterans Day on November 16; Veterans and Spouses Invited as Honored Guests

Please save the date and plan to join Sugar Land Rotary in honoring our nation’s veterans at a special Annual Sugar Land Rotary Veterans Day Celebration on Wednesday, November 16, at Sweetwater Country Club, 4400 Palm Royale Blvd., Sugar Land, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pictured are Sugar Land Rotarians Sonny Johnston, Lerleen Hawkins, Hal Jay, and Greg Pendley, President.

Sugar Land Rotary Celebrates Veterans Day on November 16!

Veterans and Spouses are invited as honored guests

Hal Jay, Veterans Day Event Chairman, plans to use the event to honor veterans in the local community. “This year we will have Rick Yarosh, a hero from the War on Terror, as our speaker. I have known Rick for several years as one of our Impact a Hero soldiers, and he will have a tremendous story to tell,” said Jay.

The meal will be complimentary of Sugar Land Rotary and Friends for all veterans and their spouses. The cost for Rotarians and non-veteran guests will be $25 per person. Table sponsorships are also available for $200 each. Buy a table and donate seats for veterans invited by Sugar Land Rotary.
